Is California a greener state now than before Arnold came to office?

Governor Schwarzenegger has certainly done his part to make California a greener state since his being elected to office. Schwarzenegger has signed a bill whose aim is to cut the state’s greenhouse emissions by 25% by 2020; he has also called for a significant drop in the carbon content of transportation fuels and promised to fight to keep Californian shores free of offshore drilling. Schwarzenegger is also a proponent of expanding green business, with his interest and open support of clean-tech industry being a prime example. California is not only a greener state for Arnold, but the governor is also taking steps to make California even greener in the future.
