California is the start of what is to become a national high-speed train system.  The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) funded $2.25 billion in federal high-speed rail fund.  On September 30, 2010 a $194 million grant was given by California High-Speed Rail Authority.  California’s high speed rail system is getting support from many different authorities.
