Humans contribute to global warming simply by existing and living on this planet so every one of their actions contributes in some way to global warming. Ways to reduce carbon emissions include a few of the more common ways: recycling, eating a vegetarian diet, living close to work to decrease in commuting time, turning off lights/electronics when not in use and walking/biking places where you would normally drive. Some of the newer ideas include eating local & organic food, growing your own food/produce, working from home full (or mostly full) time, not owning a car at all, decreasing overall consumption in addition to recycling and eating raw or vegan diets.
