Is caffeine bad for the environment?

    The jury is still out about how caffeine effects ecosystems. There are theories that it has something to do with coral bleaching, others that hypothesize that it exacerbates changes in ph and salinity. It is used as an indicator of how much sewage water is contaminating an ecosystem.
