Is bowling bad for the environment?

Bowling is a relatively environmentally friendly sport. It utilizes reusable balls, pins, and shoes (although the disinfectant spray cannot be good for the ozone), while being done using minimal energy (energy to run the bowling alley, and the gas used to drive to the bowling alley are all I can think of).

Compared to other sports, bowling is environmentally friendly.

Bowling is definitely not one of the activities one associates with environmental destruction. Lawn bowling, in fact, may be thought of as a more healthy activity as it takes place outdoors, and eco-therapists encourage people to spend more time outdoors and getting to know their community.
