Also known as Western Fence Lizards or Swifts, Blue Belly lizards are found from coastal ranges to mountain areas in eastern Oregon, southwest Idaho, all of Nevada, western Utah, and southern California.  Blue Belly lizards will grow to about 6 inches in total length.  The name blue belly comes from the mature male’s coloration of bright blue, sometimes greenish bellies.
