Actually, stormy is wrong. There is an ongoing debate on how clean biofuels actually are. Additionally, some believe that biofuels are not clean at all and some are much worse than gasoline. For example, using E85, a type of biofuel is projected to emit 14 percent fewer greenhouse gases than regular gasoline. However, E85 releases a greater percentage of volatile organic compounds, which contribute to the creation of ground-level ozone or smog.
