To a degree, yes. Whether or not you want the bill depends on how you feel about helping the world’s atmosphere and climate. If you have no qualms about using as many resources as you want to get what you want (industrially speaking, and then from an economic standpoint), then you wouldn’t have any real moral problems with the bill. In fact, you may be annoyed with the government’s infringement upon your rights as a consumer or producer. If however, you want to limit the amount of junk we pump into the atmosphere, you may feel that it is your moral obligation to help the planet and its resources, in which case you would be more indignant with the people who refuse to accept the bill because you feel they’re being morally reprehensible as far as the environment goes.
