Green Tea has a lot of health benefits and if you don’t sweeten it is calorie free. Decaf varieties exist if you don’t want the green tea. There are also fruit infused varieties for added flavor. Green tea is full of antioxidants and has been showed to help reduce LDL cholesterol.
Other teas have different health benefits and white tea is naturally decaffeinated and has a very light flavor. Herbal teas have a lot of flavor with no caffeine. Peppermint helps soothe upset tummies. Lavender and chamomile have relaxing qualities to relieve stress
Other beverages include water with a splash of lemon or orange. Flavored seltzer also is an option, as is plain seltzer with a splash of juice.
Emergen-C is good for your health. It’s a vitamin supplement mixture that contains almost all of your daily vitamin requirements. It comes in packets that you mix with water in a number of flavors. It’s only 25 calories, although there is a diet version that’s 5 calories (honestly, I feel that it’s already low enough, so a diet version isn’t necessary…however, it exists).
