Its really individual. It depends on the recycling and waste consumption habits of the restaurant, as well as where the restaurant obtains its food from. If the restaurant gets most of its food from sustainable sources, I would say that that is pretty eco friendly, along with good recycling practices and waste management practices. Thus, whether it is asian, mexican or any other kind of food, the individual practices of the restaurant ensure whether it will be eco friendly or not.
It depends on the preparation and the ingredients. If the food is made from eco-friendly products and prepared in a way that saves energy and waste, then it is definitely eco-friendly. However, if the ingredients weren’t grown in an environmentally responsible way and are prepared wastefully, then I wouldn’t say it’s eco-friendly.
