That depends on what exactly you’re referring to as wolf.
The gray wolf, which is the one spread over entire Northern Hemisphere, is listed as least concern by IUCN, although it was once vulnerable. However, there are many subspecies of gray wolf, some of which were shown by recent studies to be separate species, that are not doing that great compared to the combined population. Here are a few that are at risk:
Some other canid mammals called wolves include the Maned Wolf of South America (vulnerable) and Ethiopian Wolf (endangered).
