Wind energy is the fastest-growing energy source in the world. It is currently only a small part of energy generation, between 1-2% depending on the study, but some countries have over 20% of their energy needs met by wind power. The United States, Germany, and China are all major users in the wind power game, with the largest number of watts generated by wind power. Harvard University scientists have shown that the 10 nations that produce the most CO2 would be able to have all their energy needs met by wind power alone.
