Yes. Some places have zoning laws for the windmills due to their noise. I found in one article that “Residents living on three sides of the turbine began to complain about the noise – a constant metallic drone – as well as light reflecting off the rotors.”
Although they are an awesome way to create electricity, they can disturb the neighbors.
