Are wild animals affected by smog?

    Yes, the effects of smog on animals are similar to those on humans – primarily decreased lung capacity and lung elasticity.

    Yes, wild animals are negatively effected by smog, just like humans.  These effects can include a decrease in lung functionality, such as decreased capacity leading to breathing problems.  Smog also can cause the lungs to reduce the ability to fight disease which can age lungs prematurely.  Smog is terrible no matter who/ what is inhaling it.
