At least one prison has been teaching inmates about green trades. The Stafford Creek facility in Aberdeen, Washington has “a greenhouse where inmates learn how to restore native plant species by dropping seeds into rows of plant-starter tubes.” I am sure that other prisons are taking an eco-friendly approach to rehabilitating inmates, and if other prisoners aren’t taking advantage of the Stafford Creek facility the other prisons may begin very soon.
