Are we losing glaciers faster than our rainforests?

No.  It’s estimated that in some places of South East Asia, up to 88% of the rainforest has been lost due to economic exploitation.  This compares to about 12% of glacier loss over the last decade from studies conducted on glaciers in Zurich, Switzerland.  A further, harrowing statistic estimates that 85% of the Amazonian Rainforest will be lost by 2150, according to a new computer model.
