Probably not, they are not that efficient time wise and are still considered kind of unsafe. Also, the image of the Hindenberg exploding is hard to get out of one’s mind and I think a lot of people will still think about.
There is a Spanish company called Turtle Airships that is working on plans to build a luxurious solar-powered blimp which can take passengers from New York to Paris. The blimp uses lightweight photovoltaic cells for power and can actually rest on land or water.
