Are we doing anything to try to reduce the evaporation from the California Aqueduct?

Not much needs to be done, quite honestly. Since the water is constantly moving, there is much less evaporation than you might expect. And though water is certainly scarce in California, it is still cheap enough that there’s no economic concern in evaporation. Don’t forget, evaporated water is still part of the water cycle, and will just turn into rain.
