Tsunami or hurricane waves can be pretty devastating — I don’t know if I’d go so far as to say the most destructive force on Earth. They only affect coastal areas and islands. There are plenty of other incredibly destructive natural forces, like wildfires, tornadoes, volcanoes, and earthquakes which can cause just as much damage. It really depends on where you live, since different disasters affect different areas.
Winds carried by tornadoes may be an even stronger force. Unlike hurricanes, that build up and can be monitored, tornadoes are much more spontaneous in their appearances. In addition to this, the winds within the tornado (although rare) can reach speeds exceeding 300 miles per hour!
