Are waves more destructive than glaciers?

It would be really hard to determine which is more destructive comparatively. If we compare the overall amount of damage caused by each then by far oceans cause more destruction to the environment than glaciers do simply because there is much more of the ocean involved in the destructive process. Glaciers do leave their mark, literally, on the land by carving out huge valleys over thousands of years of movement. Oceans over time wear down coast lines from constant crashing of waves. The Grand Canyon was formed due to a river eroding the earth away over time. Overall I would say waves are more destructive than glaciers just because of their prevalence in nature.
