The ATM itself is the same machine, no matter where it’s placed, so no, there is no difference. That’s why you find Braille instructions on drive-up ATMs–it’s because it’s cheaper for a company to make one kind of ATM for everyone rather than ATMs without Braille for drive-throughs and ATMs with Braille for walk-ups. Is driving to an ATM worse for the environment than walking to an ATM? Yes. However, if an ATM is inside a heated, lit booth that stays on all night, that is also a drain on energy…but that’s not the ATM’s fault!
