It’s possible, I suppose, but the advances in electric vehicle technology of late are much more reliable than the offerings given to us by hydrogen vehicles (which, last I heard, still occasionally had issues with the volatile fuel exploding.)
Countries like China and India are also considering putting massive electric vehicle refueling infrastructure into place, which would place them at the forefront of the world economy for that industry. With that kind of incentive, it is exceedingly likely that we’ll see more electric cars in the future. The real issue is making them utilize fuel generated through green methods, rathering than just ordinary coal plants.
