    Yes. Turbo diesel engines are more efficient than normal gasoline engines as well as normal diesel engines. Diesel engines are more efficient than gasoline (petrol) engines of the same power, resulting in lower fuel consumption. The average margin is 40 percent more miles per gallon for an efficient turbodiesel. Additionally, newer turbo diesel technologies increase fuel efficiency by 25%, lower CO2 emissions by 13%, and cuts particulate and NOX emissions by 90%.
