Are trees growing faster now because it is hotter?

    There had been predictions that global warming would cause added growth in forests that would then help reduce the CO2 in the atmosphere. However, according to studies done on two tropical forests in different parts of the world, the rate of growth for trees has actually become slower as the temperature has risen.
