It depends, a lot of toothbrushes aren’t made form recyclable plastics, but there are some alternatives to get form now on. The linked site has a list of toothbrushes that are recyclable and sustainable.
Not all toothbrushes are made from recyclable plastics. Some manufacturers have made their handles out of recyclable plastic, so you could check for a resin code (the triangle with a number in it). Alternatively, Colgate has partnered with TerraCycle to collect all colgate toothbrushes, toothpastes and associated packaging for up-cycling.
