Yes. Regardless of what the new clothes are made of or how they were produced, it is always greener to reuse and recycle anything including clothing. Thrift stores are a great place to go to find some good second-hand clothing and other accessories at cheap prices, and you’ll be making more sustainable purchases while you’re at it.
Yes of course thrift stores are greener. Somebody gets to recycle clothes and somebody gets to get recycled clothing (not to mention it is cheaper). I know some people think that Goodwill is gross and for homeless people, so if you are like that there are other options that are more “trendy” thrift stores. 2 that come to mind is Buffalo Exchange and Plato’s Closet.
