Are those new bikes with the hubless wheels any more eco friendly?

    as far as it’s environmental impact, it doesn’t really change. It still technically has hubs, but it is just the same size as the wheel itself; just with a hollow center. What makes it worse is that the transfer of energy on the wheel is not as efficient. Therefore, you could go so far as to say it is less eco-friendly. To top it off, it simply costs way too much to manufacture, and requires much more precision machining to be friendly in any way. It is cool, but there are too many problems with the wheel.
