Are these companies leaving the chamber of commerce going to make a permanent impact on how people view the chamber?

Absolutely, in a span of two weeks there are a lot of huge companies that have left the chamber of commerce due to their position on climate change. Exelon is the nation’s largest utility company, Johnson and Johnson is the world’s largest healthcare company, Nike is one of the biggest shoe manufacturers and corporations, California’s PG&E has left, and Apple who dominates the computer world has also walked out the door. Since these major players have left, there is a large possibility others will walk. Also, since this whole situation has started, there has been tremendous amount of press on this issue and it has even shown the Chamber’s president changing his opinion to try to avoid a PR headache.
