Are there Volcanoes in Greenland?

    Scientists are actually not sure if there are any volcanoes in Greenland. There has been some evidence that suggests that volcanic activity is taking place under the ice sheets on Greenland, and is in fact causing some of the ice to melt more quickly. However, scientists need to conduct more research before they can be certain that it is volcanic activity and not something else causing the warm spots. There are no visible volcanoes on any of the volcanic activity maps.
