Are there schools in the U.S. that are exposed to environmental dangers (waste sites, power plants, polluting factories, etc.)?

Yes, definitely.  According to research done by the University of Cincinnati, one in three public schools are in the “air pollution danger zone.”  If you go to this website, you can actually type in your school and find out how polluted the area is around you.

    Hope this helps!
