Are there stars that are different colors?

Yes. Since color that astronomers detect from stars is a result of the radiation they give off, and this radiation is dependent on how big and/or hot the star is. In fact color is one of the mean that astronomers use to classify stars, such as a “blue giant,” “red giant,” or “white dwarf.”
