In a sense. I would have to say that internet fraud, especially the scams involving the theft of mone, could be considered acts of terror. However, the intellect in me says that internet fraud doesn’t meet the requirements to be acts of terror. I see where you are getting at though…
It has been found that terrorists of all sorts rely on internet funds (ie theft and frauds involving copious amounts of scamming) to pay for their recruiting and weaponry- basically funding their terrorist networks. The answer to your question, then is absolutely.
Protect your bank card information by only using secure sites, and never give out your social securty number.
