Yes! There are actually quite a few sea lions on the Oregon coast. There’s even a large cave named Sea Lion Cave on the coast in Florence, Oregon. Here is a picture of some sea lions in Newport, OR:
Sea lions are generally found living all along America’s Western coast, and many species typically make their home along the rugged coastlines of Oregon.
If you want a closer look or are having trouble finding any in the wilds or along the beaches, the Oregon Coastal Aquarium in Newport generally has great exhibits of local sea lions!
The Oregon coast actually has the largest sea cave, called Sea Lion Caves. It is located 11 miles north of Florence, almost due west of Eugene.
