Are there places in the world right now that are experiencing anything like the American Dust Bowl of the 1930’s because of bad farming practices?

    Yes. In Africa, there are places where there is not enough water and the land is not able to produce crops. The people may not necessarily have done “bad farming practices” by choice, but were perhaps forced to farm as much as they could with the deteriorating land quality just so that they could feed their families. The article below includes satellite images of Lade Chad in Africa. It is only 5% of the size that it originally was. These areas experience extreme drought and megadroughts because of climate change.
