Assuming that you’re asking for sources of energy that are considered green, solar panels are by far the easiest and least obtrusive. You could probably place a small wind turbine if a home is in an open area that gets enough wind. You could get a small bioethanol production going, but that will require a good deal of specialized equipment and knowledge of how to operate it well. That bioethanol could be used as fuel if a car is designed to accept it, or can be burned in commercially available electricity generators. The other scenarios for clean energy are too far fetched, such as drilling down for geothermal, or water-based such as a dam, a wave or tide power generator.
