Are there other suns in space?

Well, yes. The Sun is just a star, and of course there are billions of stars in our universe.

If you mean other stars that have planets revolving around them, the answer is also yes. We are in the process of discovering many planets around stars other than our sun (extrasolar planets.)

If you mean other stars similar in size and brightness to our sun, that is also true. The sun is brighter than 85% of the stars in our galaxy (many are red dwarves), but there are plenty of stars of a similar size.
