There aren’t, because Chile has less need of aid than Haiti does. Even though it was more powerful, the Chile quake wasn’t as devastating as the Haiti quake. Chile reports 432 people confirmed dead, while the death toll for the Haiti quake was at least 230,000. The difference in fatalities shows the importance of strict building codes in earthquake-prone areas. Chile is also a richer country with more resources to deal with a disaster such as an earthquake. It needed aid, but not as much as Haiti did.
The Chilean earthquake was devastating but it didn’t approach the scale of Haiti’s crisis.
