    Eagle species are categorized into one of four subgroups: Harpy (6 species), Serpent (12 species), Booted (30 species), Fish/Sea eagles (11 species). The four subgroups total 59 species of eagle.

    Yes. There are over 50 species of eagles. Some you may know, like the Bald Eagle, Golden Eagle, and Harpy Eagle. Others include the Madagascar Fish-Eagle, Steppe Eagle, and Martial Eagle. They all belong to the Accipitridae Family. Eagles are impressive birds of prey and live mostly in Europe, Asia, and Africa.
