Are there laws anywhere that limit the amount of water you can use?

Indeed there are lots of these laws throughout the US alone. In Atlanta there have been total watering bans at times. In Los Angeles the have implemented partial bans – “no more than two days per week for landscape sprinklers and no more than 15 minutes per watering station.” These are just some cities, though at least Oklahoma and Texas have levied state-wide water rationing laws. Though this does not happen often, the last time Los Angeles has not rationed since ’91.
