Are there large farmers markets in Africa?

Africa is still largely a developing continent, with many regional variants. Some areas are pretty modern, like metropolitan South Africa, other areas are complete anarchy, like Somalia. As a whole, there is little infrastructure and business as most Westerners would think of the word. What this means is, no grocery stores, the primary markets for most people are still bazaars/community/farmers markets.
