Are there jet streams in the ocean?

The definition of a jet stream is a high-speed wind current that flows somewhere between 10-15km (6-9miles) in altitude. Because of this definition, there can not be jet streams in the ocean. The closest thing to a jet stream is that of the standard ocean current. Ocean currents are flows of water that maintain a steady speed. This is similar to a river inside the body of water.
