Are there giant earthworms?

Yes, there are giant earthworms. The term giant means that there is an earthworm larger than most in the species. The Gippsland earthworm, which is indigenous in Australia, is considered a giant earthworm. These worms live deep underground and are usually 100 cm long and 2 cm in diameter.

Yes. However, like the previous anwer said they are really not giant in size. For example, there is the giant Palouse earthworm. They grow to be about a foot long and smell…like lilies apparently.
