In order to keep weeds from growing back, you can remove the entire weed, use a chemical, or use a weed-preventer. 1) When pulling weeds, it is essential that the entire weed is dug up. If part of the root is still left, then the weed can grow back. 2) Chemicals may be sprayed on weeds to remove them. Weed-B-Gon is one such example. Once the weed is dead, remove the entire weed, roots and all. 3) Weed preventers are also useful. They come in the form of a spray or in fertilizer. Another option is landscape fabric. This will block the sun and prevent any weeds from growing.
