Vancouver, B.C. and the surrounding areas. It has very similar weather to it’s American “neighbors” like Seattle, with warm winters (generally 30 – 50* F) and cooler summers. Although it certainly isn’t the tropics, it wouldn’t be considered as cold as the tundra or the American midwest, thanks to the nearby Pacific ocean and the accompanying currents.
I come from Toledo, Ohio which is right by the Canadian border. Cities like Toronto, Windsor, Edmonton, and Calgary get the same weather as the northern parts of America. Yes, they have winter, but they have summer too. It’s not the frozen pine forest that you see on the show Plant Earth throughout the entire country.
The southern portion of the country is just like America.
