Yes. While the act of having a sustainability plan in itself does not provide a tax break, many of the actions implemented as part of the sustainability plan could provide tax breaks on a federal, state, and even local level. Installing energy-efficient lighting and equipment, or using recycled materials are a couple components of a sustainability plan that could carry tax incentives in addition to their immediate cost benefits.
