Are there any species of animals that have a lot of albinism?

Because all animals have melanin, there is always the potential for a lack of melanin, or albinism.  However, it is most common in birds.

Well, a true albino derives from the fact that they do not have any melanin production in their system. There’s a few deer that are albino in northern New York. It’s estimated that there is one albino birth in 42,500 births! There is a distinction between albino and white animals, albinos have a pink nose and eyes, while white animals just have white fur/skin with normal colored eyes.
