There are a number of kinetic energy chargers on the market that will harvest the kinetic energy you generate through your movements and store it in batteries. There is also a new product that will, instead of storing the energy in batteries, pump the converted kinetic energy directly into electric devices that the user is carrying.
There are also systems like this back pack or fanny pack that store solar energy as you walk (or ride your bike) outside, and then you can use it to charge your iPod or other devices.
