Are there any rainforests that are getting bigger instead of smaller?

    Good question, Harrison.  There are actually some rain forests that are regrowing.  Some examples include rain forests in Costa Rica, Panama, and Brazil.  The forests that are growing in these places were originally cut down and used for agriculture decades ago.  Here is a picture of one of these forests in Costa Rica, that was barren as recently as 40 years ago:
