I’ve attached a link about the removal of nonnative plants from florida. The second link is about “The Invasive Management Area (IMA) Volunteer Program, a community-based project designed to reduce invasive plants on our parklands.”
There are some student groups who organize to help remove things like Buckthorn from forest plots. In Lake Erie they encourage fisherman to not put invasive round gobies back in the water if they are to catch one (however, just throwing them up on shore can lead to a lot of rotting fish by the end of the summer!).
Many natural areas have volunteers that assist with cleaning up litter and these people may also help with removal of introduced species.
