Are there any places where we have reintroduced tigers to the wild?

According to an article in TIME magazine, there has never been a tiger reintroduction because so few habitats remain.  Ron Tilson, the director of conservation at the Minnesota Zoo, says we need to be focusing more on creating tiger habitats rather than spending all our time protecting the few that already exist.

India may actually be the first country to see reintroduced tigers. Wildlife conversationists are hoping to relocate tigers to Rajastan, specifically to ths Sariska reserve which was previously populated by tigers before poachers hunted them all. One tiger has been put on the reserve, and their hoping it will stake its claim on the territory. Should it be successful, more tigers will be introduced so they can breed.
